1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session tokens. Some are set by Capricent ("first-party"); others may be set by vendors we use to operate the product.
2. How Capricent uses cookies
- Essential / authentication: director portal sessions (e.g. NextAuth), parent-portal session cookies under a center domain.
- Security & operations: load balancing, abuse prevention, and basic reliability.
- Preferences (limited): remembering simple UI choices where implemented.
We do not use Capricent product cookies to serve third-party advertising networks on customer daycare websites.

Exact cookie names may change as we upgrade auth libraries. If a third-party vendor (for example analytics we add later) sets cookies, we will update this table and the Privacy Policy.

- You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and parent-portal access.
